Abstract: ABSTRACT A System and Method for Multi-Layered Soil-Responsive Plant-Pot with Controlled Growth Support and Biodegradation This invention pertains to a multilayered, soil-responsive, and engineering-functional plant pot system for use in direct soil planting as well as in assisting early stages of plant growth. This system consists of an outer structural layer for maintaining its structural integrity during nursery, an intermediate functional layer containing nutrients and bio-inoculants in an encapsulated form, and an inner root interface layer having directional guidance microstructures and engineered micro-porosity for root penetration control. This plant pot is made in such a manner that it exhibits biodegradable properties based on soil properties, including moisture content, microbial content, and pH value. Thus, this system will maintain its structural integrity in time and then get degraded after being planted. It also has a layer for maintaining appropriate moisture level. Fig.3
