Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOTORIZED ELEVATION AND ALERT IN INTRAVENOUS STAND The present invention relates to a motorised intravenous stand system (100) configured to reduce physical strain during intravenous therapy by enabling ergonomic handling of intravenous fluid containers. The system allows an intravenous bag to be initially placed at a height below shoulder level on an intravenous bag support assembly (105) and subsequently elevated using a foot-operated motorized elevation unit (103), thereby eliminating the need for manual overhead lifting. The motorized elevation unit (103) converts rotational motion into linear vertical movement along a vertical support tube (101B) to raise or lower the intravenous bag in a smooth and controlled manner. A control unit (111) includes an infusion monitoring arrangement (111D) configured to detect when intravenous fluid reaches a predefined residual volume and to activate an alert unit (107) providing visual and audible indications. A power supply unit (109) enables low-voltage battery operation suitable for clinical environments. The system improves caregiver safety, workflow efficiency, and reliability of intravenous fluid management. FIG.3
