Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MIGRANT WORKER SKILL PROFILING AND GAP CLOSURE The present disclosure provides a system (100) and method for skill profiling of migrant workers and closing identified skill gaps. The system comprises a multimodal data acquisition module (110) that captures worker credentials through voice, video, text and biometric inputs, a digital skill passport repository (120) storing verified worker profiles, an AI-based skill assessment engine (130) that classifies and grades competencies against standardized skill taxonomies using natural language processing and computer vision, a skill gap analysis and recommendation module (140) that identifies deficits against target job roles, an adaptive micro-learning module (150) delivering personalized upskilling content in vernacular languages, an employer-worker matching engine (160), and a blockchain-based credential verification module (170) ensuring tamper- proof records. A multilingual communication interface (180) enables inclusive access. The invention empowers migrant workers with a portable digital identity and enables demand-driven skill development. [Figure 1]
