Abstract: “A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CABLE WINDING DRUM (CABDUM) FROM MIXED PLASTIC WASTES” The present invention provides a system and method for manufacturing a cable winding drum (cabdum) from mixed plastic wastes. The system comprises multi-stage thermo-mechanical waste processing assembly (100) and drum-making assembly (200). The multi-stage assembly (100) includes a shredo-dust removing assembly (10), a compounding assembly (20), a grinding assembly (30), and an extruder assembly (40), or alternatively, a single-stage melt compactor assembly (50) along with the shredo-dust removing assembly (10). These components facilitate a primary processing route involving sequential shredding, compounding, grinding, and extruding to produce molten material, and a secondary processing route for direct shredding, mixing, melting, and compacting. The drum-making assembly (200) comprises an O-ring type die pressing apparatus (60) for side plates and a three-sided center piece die pressing apparatus (70) for the central cylinder. (Figure 1)
