MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621054106 A) filed by Solar Defence And Aerospace Limited on April 28, 2026, for A System And Method For Interference Detection And Frequency Control In A Wireless Communication Network.
Inventors include Kola, Shrikanth; and Sharma, Aditi.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system (100) and method for real-time interference detection and frequency control in a wireless communication network. The system (100) comprises a primary communication radio (110) configured to transmit and receive signals over an operating frequency channel and an external sensing radio (120) for scanning a plurality of frequency channels (200). A processing unit (130) computes interference metrics based on measurements from the external sensing radio (120) and a decision engine (140) evaluates the interference metrics to detect interference conditions affecting the operating frequency channel and then selects an alternative frequency channel exhibiting reduced interference. A control interface (150) transmits a frequency reconfiguration command from the decision engine (140) to the primary communication radio (110), which transitions to the selected alternative frequency channel. The sensing operation is independent from data transmission, enabling rapid, deterministic frequency adaptation while maintaining uninterrupted communication.
