Elizabeth Jesi on July 09, 2026, for A System And Method For Hybrid Enhancement And Multi-Resolution Analysis Of Ct Lung Images.

Inventors include Dr. J. Anitha Ruth; G. Inbasakaran; M. Saraniya; and Dr. V. Elizabeth Jesi.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: A computer-implemented image-processing system (100-170) is disclosed for technical analysis of computed tomography lung images. An image-input module (100) receives a CT image, including DICOM input, and a preprocessing module (110) standardises the image. A hybrid enhancement module (120) combines wavelet-based noise suppression with multiscale morphological refinement and fusion to produce an enhanced image. An adaptive segmentation module (130) applies Local Gaussian Distribution analysis to identify candidate regions. A multi-resolution feature-extraction module (140) extracts texture, shape, boundary, intensity and convolutional features, and a resource-efficient convolutional neural network classification module (150) generates an image-content category and confidence indicator. An optional deployment controller (160) configures execution parameters according to available computing resources. The output module (170) provides technical intermediate outputs for qualified review and does not provide a medical diagnosis.
