Abstract: ABSTRACT A System and Method for Genotype-responsive Adaptive Maceration and Long Fiber Recovery The present invention relates to a system and methods for Genotype-responsive adaptive maceration and predicted long fiber recovery from lignocellulosic biomass. The present system includes a multi-sensor fiber monitoring system, a processor, a memory, a predictive machine learning fiber analysis engine, and an adaptive fiber preservation controller programmed to process fiber anatomical, physiochemical, thermal, optical, and mechanical data acquired in relation to biomass processing. The present invention involves the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to predict fiber resistance coefficients, and fiber fracture trajectory in relation to heterogeneous lignocellulosic biomasses. The adaptive fiber preservation system uses predictive fiber-preservation analytics to regulate maceration factors like chemical concentration, thermal hydrolysis, enzyme sequence, fiber separation rate, and mechanical shear for optimizing long fiber integrity.
