The method includes generating a visual embedding (306) based on the at least one visual content element, wherein the visual embedding (306) corresponds to a global semantic representation associated with the at least one visual content element. The method includes generating a plurality of visual prefix tokens (316) based on the visual embedding (306). The method includes generating a combined token sequence (320) by combining the plurality of visual prefix tokens (316) with one or more textual tokens corresponding to textual information associated with the semantic description. The method includes generating the semantic description based on processing the combined token sequence (320) using a decoder-only transformer (322) implementing a self- attention operation.
