Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FIXED ORTHODONTIC APPLIANCE FOR SINGLE-STEP MANDIBULAR ADVANCEMENT The present invention pertains to a device and procedure involving a fixed orthodontic apparatus designed for mandibular advancement to correct Class II malocclusion caused by mandibular retrognathia. The apparatus consists of a protraction rod assembly coupled to an expansion screw device that converts rotary motion into linear motion, thus allowing for accurate mandibular advancement. This apparatus is equipped with a maxillary anchorage assembly and a mandibular anchorage assembly, offering secure intraoral positioning and effective force delivery. The guidance assembly guarantees the linear motion of the protraction rod assembly, which minimizes any unnecessary movement, ensuring accuracy. This apparatus is capable of accomplishing mandibular advancement in one single step, which decreases treatment time and prevents staged adjustments. Fig. 3
