Abstract: ABSTRACT A system and method for feedback-driven adaptive generation of speech corpora for under-resourced and endangered languages The invention relates to speech corpus generation for under-resourced and endangered languages. The system comprises an input resource acquisition module that ingests native recordings, informal text and high-resource corpora into a shared data repository and configuration store ; a normalization engine ; a linguistic transformation and text expansion module ; a controlled code-switch text generation module ; a hybrid speech generation module ; an automatic quality validation and filtering module ; a recognition-error analysis engine ; a control parameter update engine ; and a feedback control module . These components iteratively generate and refine hybrid speech samples, validate and analyze errors, update control variables and reconfigure text and speech generation until a predefined convergence threshold is achieved.
