MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611099523 A) filed by Baba Farid College Of Engineering And Technology; and Baba Farid College on August 18, 2026, for A System And Method For Event-Responsive Reliability And Survival Data Processing.

Inventors include Mr. Ankush Kumar; Dr. Jasmeet Kaur; Dr. Harbhajan Singh; Mr. Lakhwinder Singh; Ms. Jaskiran Kaur; and Mr. Rohit Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed system (100) comprises a data processing unit (102) configured to receive and validate reliability or survival data and generate validated analytical data. The system (100) further comprises a model processing unit (104) configured to process the validated analytical data using a plurality of candidate lifetime models and generate fitted model information, a processing control unit (106) configured to coordinate updating of analytical operations, and a reliability determination unit (108) configured to determine survival information and hazard information. The system (100) further comprises a simulation unit (110) configured to perform probabilistic simulation and generate reliability forecast information, and an optimization unit (112) configured to determine reliability optimization information. Further, the processing control unit (106), in response to a modification in the reliability or survival data or analytical configuration, coordinates updating of affected analytical operations such that corresponding analytical outputs are updated in accordance with the modification.
