Abstract: The present invention provides an integrated fall detection and differentiation system that combines wearable and wall-mounted sensors to detect and classify falls accurately. The system incorporates a wearable band equipped with motion sensors and physiological sensors along with wall-mounted environmental sensors, such as infrared motion detectors, ultrasonic sensors, microphones, and includes smart rings and EDA for mood detection. These sensors work in coordination to collect motion, physiological, and environmental data. The data is fused and processed using advanced algorithms to analyze motion patterns, environmental activity, and physiological changes. The system distinguishes between true falls, requiring emergency response, and pseudo falls, such as abrupt sitting or kneeling, thereby minimizing false alarms. Upon detecting a true fall, the system sends real-time alerts to caregivers or emergency responders. This invention is particularly advantageous for elderly care, healthcare monitoring, and smart home safety, ensuring accurate fall detection and timely intervention to enhance user safety.
