MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611090877 A) filed by Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun on July 24, 2026, for A System And Method For Cybersecurity Of Networked Display Devices.

Inventors include Simar Singh Rayat; Sonakshi Negi; Sujal Thapa; Raj Basnet; and Arun Pratap Singh Rathod.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to cybersecurity for networked display devices, including protected projectors, wireless display systems, collaborative visual devices, and other networked visual devices. A system and method are disclosed in which an integrated projector security module or middleware gateway applies a Dynamic Cloaking Engine to conceal device identity and route access attempts through a controlled path, a Blockchain Validation Ledger to validate blockchain-based access tokens and immutably record authentication events, intrusion attempts, access decisions, anomaly decisions, and explanations, and an ephemeral encrypted tunnel for authorized sessions. An Explainable AI Anomaly Detection Engine monitors session traffic for suspicious behavior and generates human-readable explanations, while a threat blocking and response control function interrupts malicious traffic. A Decentralized Defense Grid distributes threat signatures, explanations, and federated learning updates among peer devices, and an Adaptive Security Dashboard presents real-time activity, forensic records, validation outcomes, and predictive security insights.
