Abstract: The invention relates to wearable medical monitoring devices for diabetic foot care, and discloses a flexible smart insole configured to continuously sense plantar pressure, foot temperature, moisture, walking activity, gait characteristics and fall events during daily use. Pressure sensors, temperature sensor, moisture sensor, and accelerometer/gyroscope are integrated with an ESP32 controller that acquires and processes sensor signals in real time, applies noise filtering and threshold-based abnormality detection, and identifies conditions associated with ulcer risk, inflammation, infection, excessive moisture, impaired mobility, or falls. Upon detection of an abnormal condition, the system generates a dual alert by actuating an embedded vibration motor and transmitting a notification through Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi to a mobile application, with optional cloud storage and remote access for caregivers and healthcare professionals. The invention advances prior systems by combining multi-parameter continuous monitoring, immediate local warning, and IoT-enabled remote supervision in a portable home-use platform.
