Abstract: A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CODE ANALYSIS A method for performing code analysis across a source code repository comprising a plurality of programming languages, includes receiving the source code repository, detecting the plurality of programming languages by performing a multi signal analysis, and generating a technology inventory. The method includes determining whether a predefined rule set is available based on a rule availability registry. Source code is routed to a rule- based analysis engine when the predefined rule set is available and to an AI powered analysis engine when the predefined rule set is unavailable. The rule-based analysis engine performs deterministic code analysis using abstract syntax tree parsing and pattern matching to generate a first set of violation records. The AI powered analysis engine provides a structured detection schema to a large language model to generate a second set of violation records. The processor generates a consolidated report by aggregating the first set and the second set. FIG. 2
