Abstract: ABSTRACT A System and Method for Cloud-Based AI Raag-Guided Lyric-to-Melody Generation The present application provides a method and apparatus for cloud-based AI-guided lyrics to raag-constrained melodies in the context of Indian classical music. The invention involves an apparatus that receives textual inputs for lyrics as input data and then uses NLP technology to analyze the data by extracting semantic, phonetic, and emotion parameters. Raag selection engine uses the extracted data and maps the same to an Indian classical raag by applying correlation rules for the same. Melody generation engine generates melodies that use machine learning-based algorithms and raag constraint enforcement algorithms, ensuring melodies generated are constrained by rules governing a particular raag, while also taking into consideration the structure of lyrics. A syllable-to-note synchronization engine takes care of the rhythm aspect, and a scoring engine analyzes the output using criteria such as adherence to raag rules, emotions, and similarities to other known compositions. Human preferences-based learning engine modifies the melody using feedback from user- approved databases. Fig. 3
