Abstract: The present invention relates to a centralized artificial intelligence governance and orchestration system (100) configured to control processing of artificial intelligence inference requests within an organizational environment. The system (100) comprises a Gateway Proxy configured to intercept and enrich inference requests with contextual metadata, a Policy Engine configured to evaluate the requests against declarative governance policies, an Orchestration Scheduler configured to select execution endpoints, a Model and Endpoint Registry configured to maintain operational information associated with available artificial intelligence resources, an Audit Logging Module configured to generate immutable audit records, and an Administrator Dashboard configured to manage governance policies and monitor system operations. The system (100) dynamically routes policy-approved requests to selected artificial intelligence resources based on operational parameters and records transaction-related information. The invention further provides a corresponding method for centralized governance, orchestration, monitoring, and auditing of artificial intelligence inference transactions.
