MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631112686 A) filed by Sukrit Modak on September 20, 2026, for A System And Method For Cathode-Ray-Tube Based Magnetic Response Mapping, Magnetic Field Visualization & Image/Video Derived Spatial Analysis.
Inventor includes Sukrit Modak.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to magnetic-field visualization and spatial analysis using a cathode-ray tube (CRT). A CRT having an electron-beam generation and deflection arrangement and a phosphor-coated screen is exposed to a magnetic source, causing a magnetic-field-induced change in electron-beam trajectory and phosphor response. An image acquisition device captures reference and test responses, and a processing system spatially registers and analyzes the images to determine colour, brightness, intensity, contrast, colour distribution, edge response and positional displacement, thereby generating a magnetic-response map. A polarity-calibration module associates distinguishable calibrated colours with known pole orientations. Multiple magnetic sources may be analyzed to determine combined response topology. An intervening object between the magnetic source and CRT may be evaluated by comparing reference and test responses to determine changes attributable to magnetic-field modification, attenuation, redirection or shielding. The invention provides an image-based technique for visualizing and analyzing magnetic-field effects.
