Abstract: Automated Parking System (APS) using Machine Learning is one of the visionaries intended to cause revolution in the typical approach to parking. The system incorporates leveraging of technological solutions such as the machine learning algorithms in parking and some of the features performed include vehicle detection and recognition by the use of computer vision and deep learning. White it has real time sensors and cameras to control the parking space, it offers the occupants the status of the parking lot through a mobile application. This helps save time and energy required to look for the available space to park the vehicle as the APS simplifies it by first collecting the data and putting it to analysis so as to predict the available space for parking. This results to efficient flow of traffic, reduced traffic jam and a better experience of parking space.
