Abstract: ABSTRACT A System and Method for AI-Driven Software Testing, Bug Prediction, and Automated Code Optimization The present disclosure relates to a system and method for AI-enabled software testing, predictive defect evolution analysis, autonomous root cause localization, vulnerability mutation simulation, and self-adaptive code optimization using a software digital twin framework. The system includes a data acquisition module, a software digital twin generation module, a defect evolution prediction module, a quantum-inspired bug forecasting module, a causal root-cause localization module, an adaptive testing intelligence module, a vulnerability mutation simulation module, a self-healing code optimization module, a technical debt prediction module, an explainable software intelligence module, and a software evolution planning module. The system continuously builds a virtual model of software behavior and predicts the future spread of defects, hidden software failures, cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and architectural degradation trends. It also generates adaptive testing scenarios, validates software optimization alternatives in its own environment and delivers predictive software lifecycle intelligence. The invention increases software reliability, execution efficiency, cyber-security resilience, maintainability, deployment stability and overall software quality, and reduces debugging efforts, operational risks and maintenance costs.
