Abstract: ABSTRACT A System and Method for AI-Driven Quantum-Resistant Authentication with Latency-Preserving Control in Cyber-Physical Systems The current disclosure pertains to an AI/ML-enabled quantum-resilient authentication and latency-agnostic control system in cyber-physical systems. The system consists of a CPU core, storage, communication module, system monitoring devices, an AI/ML-driven optimization module, and an authentication management module. System monitoring devices generate system state data, which includes information about device resource availability, latency levels, historical data about authentications performed, and indicators of possible security threats. The AI/ML-driven module takes such inputs into account and dynamically tunes key encapsulation variables of a lattice-based cryptographic protocol, schedules authentication cycles, and assigns the execution of processes to primary and secondary processing environments. The asynchronous dual-execution model allows non-blocking authentication, whereas a session token based actuation flow continuity approach guarantees unobstructed operation of control loops. The system also contains methods for mitigating side channels and fault injections. Fig. 3
