Abstract: ABSTRACT A System and Method for AI-Based Intrusion Detection and Autonomous Cybersecurity Management in Distributed Computing Environments The present disclosure relates to a system and method for AI-based intrusion detection, autonomous cybersecurity management, and distributed trust orchestration in distributed computing environments. The system includes a data acquisition module, a processor, a cyber digital twin engine, a federated threat learning module, a cyber immune memory repository, an explainable threat reasoning module, an attack propagation prediction engine, a distributed trust consensus module, a quantum- resilient cryptographic adaptation module, and a self-healing cybersecurity orchestration module. The cyber digital twin engine builds virtual representations of computing assets to model attack scenarios and forecast possible compromise paths. The federated threat learning module allows for privacy-preserving collaborative threat intelligence generation, and the cyber immune memory repository continuously improves defense capabilities based on historical attack knowledge. The system also validates security decisions, predicts attack propagation, detects attempts to manipulate AI models, dynamically adapts security policies, and performs remediation and infrastructure recovery actions autonomously. The invention provides increased cybersecurity resilience, predictive threat mitigation, reduced incident response time and enhanced protection of distributed computing environments.
