Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADAPTIVE MULTI-STIMULUS SENSORY ASSESSMENT, DERMATOMAL MAPPING AND REAL TIME SPINAL BLOCK EVALUATION AND MONITORING The present invention relates to a system and method for adaptive multi-stimulus sensory assessment, automated dermatomal mapping, and real-time spinal block assessment and monitoring. The system includes a motorized dermatome positioning module, an anatomical localization module, a programmable multi-stimulus generation module, a contact force regulation module, a physiological sensing module, a response acquisition module, a response confidence evaluation module, a dermatomal transition boundary reconstruction module, a spinal block quality index generation module, a predictive block monitoring module, a safety surveillance module, a memory and a processor. The processor automates the delivery of thermal, tactile, vibration, pressure and calibrated nociceptive stimuli and simultaneously acquires physiological parameters and patient responses. The validated responses are used to reconstruct continuous dermatomal sensory transition maps, create a quantitative spinal block quality index, predict block progression and regression, identify abnormal block characteristics, and dynamically optimize subsequent assessment parameters. The released system provides objective, standardized, adaptive and repeatable spinal block assessment with improved diagnostic accuracy, patient safety and clinical decision support compared to conventional manual assessment techniques.
