Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND A PROCESS FOR THE GENERATION OF SYNGAS The present disclosure relates to a system and a process for the generation of syngas. The system and the process of the present disclosure utilizes a reverse water gas shift reaction and carbon dioxide capture process to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide and water in the product stream. The captured carbon dioxide is then recycled to the reverse water gas shift reactor. The system and the process of the present disclosure reduces the amount of recycle molar ratio, thereby eliminate the need of larger equipments.
