Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND A METHOD TO PROVIDE ADAPTIVE MULTIZONE COOLING, ILLUMINATION, AND AUDIO OUTPUT THROUGH A MOBILE-CONTROLLED DECORATIVE CEILING COOLER The present invention pertains to a system and method for providing adaptive multizone cooling, illumination and audio output through a decorative ceiling mounted cooler. The system has occupancy and environmental sensors, segmented evaporative cooling media, independently controllable water-flow actuators, adjustable air outlets, a variable-speed air-moving assembly, a droplet separator, a water-recovery arrangement, illumination elements, audio components, and a processor. The processor senses occupied spatial zones, determines respective cooling demands, selectively wets the associated cooling-media segments, modulates the blower speed and directs the cooled air toward detected occupants. Evaporation is controlled, obstruction is detected, and condensation or droplet discharge is prevented by using measurements of humidity, surface temperature, airflow and downstream moisture. Water is evaluated, treated and recirculated for recovery. Acoustic and vibration measurements can be used to achieve audio compensation and resonance control. The system also provides fault indication, leakage isolation, protective shutdown and automated flushing, drainage and drying thereby improving thermal comfort, water efficiency, energy efficiency, hygiene, acoustic intelligibility and operational safety during overhead cooling operation.
