Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND A METHOD TO PERFORM HEALTH-AWARE ADAPTIVE SOFT-STARTING, PREDICTIVE DAMAGE MITIGATION, AND LIFECYCLE OPTIMIZATION OF INDUCTION MOTORS The present disclosure relates to a system and method for regime-aware, confidence-controlled financial time-series forecasting. The system acquires historical and live financial-market data, preprocesses the data, and extracts market-related features including volatility, liquidity, trend, spread, drawdown, volume, event, and prediction-error information. A market-regime detection module determines a prevailing market regime, and an adaptive sequence-generation module dynamically selects a temporal window, feature configuration, sampling interval, or data resolution corresponding to the detected regime. A forecast model bank selects, weights, or combines forecasting models to generate candidate forecasts. A confidence-scoring module determines a forecast- confidence score using model disagreement, recent prediction error, regime stability, data quality, volatility, liquidity, and drift information. An output-control module selectively releases, flags, delays, suppresses, or routes a forecast according to the confidence score. A live error-monitoring and drift-triggered retraining module updates forecasting models when performance degradation or distributional drift is detected, thereby improving forecast reliability and adaptability.
