MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621097607 A) filed by Rohan Raju Ayyappa on August 12, 2026, for A System And A Method Of Adaptive Chromatographic Retention Time Prediction And Recalculation.

Inventor includes Rohan Raju Ayyappa.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system (100) for predicting and adaptively recalculating chromatographic retention time. The system (100) comprises a column database (102) storing Tanaka parameters of chromatographic columns, a method reader (104) extracting chromatographic method parameters from a source document, a procedure selector (106), and a column selector (108) for selecting a target chromatographic column. An AI-based calculation engine (110) calculates an expected retention time based on user-specified chromatographic parameters and differences between Tanaka parameters of source and target columns. A run and compare module (112) compare the expected retention time with an experimentally observed retention time. A correction module (114) receives the observed retention time as Trial RT and establishes the Trial RT as a corrected reference. A repeat and improve module (116) causes recalculation using the Trial RT and further user-specified conditions. A user interface (118) facilitates interaction, thereby enabling iterative prediction, correction, and recalculation for improved predictive accuracy. Fig. 1 is the reference figure.
