MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631072505 A) filed by Pricewaterhousecoopers Private Limited Pwc on June 11, 2026, for A System And A Method For Privacy Preserving Generation Of Domain Specific Synthetic Data.

Inventors include Nandy, Prasun; Das, Rik; Gangopadhyay, Arijit; and Mahapatra, Saranik.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for implementing an enterprise-level runtime data isolation architecture using an orchestrator 106 is disclosed. The orchestrator 106 retrieves synthetic data from a central repository 114, wherein the synthetic data is generated by a synthetic data generator 102 using a machine learning model independent of runtime execution. The orchestrator 106 provides the synthetic data to a plurality of data-processing applications 110, while preventing access to production data stored in a production data source 112, thereby enforcing runtime data isolation and reducing system attack surface. Outputs generated by the plurality of data-processing applications 110 are evaluated by a cross-application behavioral evaluation module 120 to determine a functional equivalence score. In response to detected inconsistencies, an iterative control loop 122 triggers regeneration of synthetic data, modification of application parameters, or retraining of the machine learning model in a decoupled learning environment 124, thereby enabling a closed-loop, self- optimizing system.
