The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a method (300) for deriving posture data of a user. The method (300) comprises receiving, by a processor (201), visual data of the user for a specific duration, detecting a plurality of skeletal landmarks in each frame of the visual data and determining one or more first frames and one or more stable frames from the visual data based on a confidence score and a positional change of each of the plurality of skeletal landmarks respectively. The method (300) applies unsupervised clustering to pixel coordinates of the plurality of skeletal landmarks of the one or more stable frames to identify a dominant frame cluster, selecting a single representative frame from the dominant frame cluster, and generating posture data of the user from skeletal landmark positions of the plurality of skeletal landmarks in the single representative frame scaled by a pixel-to-unit scale factor.
