Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR PHYSICS-CONSTRAINED QUANTUM MODELING, CAUSAL ERROR LOCALIZATION AND COMPUTATIONAL RESEARCH OPTIMIZATION The present disclosure provides a system and method for quantum modelling with physics constraints, causal error localisation and computational research optimisation. The system includes a quantum processing unit, a measurement interface, laboratory instrumentation, a memory and a processor configured to build candidate physical models, extract physical invariants, characterise quantum-hardware conditions, and compile a primary quantum experiment with controlled diagnostic perturbations. The processor compares predicted responses against unperturbed and perturbed measurements to generate a causal discrepancy fingerprint that can differentiate model-originated discrepancies from qubit, control-signal, readout, instrument, environmental or computational errors. Once a recognised source of error has been confirmed by a confirmatory perturbation, the processor reconfigures a physical operating parameter and selects a subsequent experiment based on the expected reduction in uncertainty, quantum shot consumption, circuit depth, decoherence exposure, execution time, and energy demand. This in turn improves physical consistency, measurement accuracy, hardware utilisation, computational efficiency and reproducibility and reduces unnecessary quantum executions and calibration operations, research latency.
