Abstract: A system and a method for integrated fabric quality assurance by shade and defect detection is disclosed. The system is designed for real-time textile defect detection and shade variation analysis. The system integrates a high-resolution camera to capture live data, facilitate bidirectional communication among plurality of modules. A defect detection module identifies and classifies various textile defects utilizing imaging techniques. The colour space module decouples hue, saturation, and value to manage colour information independently from lighting variations, enable precise identification of colour discrepancies by employing lab colour space model. This module analyse lightness ,colourfulness, to aid in detection of subtle variations. A shade analysis module ensures batch consistency by monitoring colour bleed and cross-contamination between production batches. Additionally, a width analysis module verifies fabric dimensions, and a printing error identification module is utilized for quality control. An integrated inspection module adjusts for environmental factors, ensuring robust performance under varying conditions. FIG. 1
