Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method (500) for generating a star trail video using a handheld user equipment (UE) (100). The method (500) includes capturing (502) a plurality of long exposure frames using a first imaging sensor of the UE (100) and a plurality of short exposure frames using a second imaging sensor of the UE (100). In addition, the method (500) includes determining (504) a plurality of motion vectors of the plurality of celestial objects based on a trajectory of the plurality of celestial objects. In addition, the method (500) includes generating (506) a plurality of stabilized long exposure based on correlating the plurality of motion vectors with each of the plurality of long exposure frames. Finally, the method (500) includes generating (508) the star trail video based on fusing the plurality of stabilized long exposure frames.
