Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: “A SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR CONTROLLED COMBUSTION OF METHANOL” The present invention relates to a system (100) and a method (300) for controlled methanol combustion in boiler. The system (100) for controlled methanol combustion in a boiler ensures efficient and safe methanol utilization. The system (100) comprises of a methanol storage unit (1) that securely stores methanol under controlled temperature and pressure conditions, connected to a canned pump (4) via a suction valve (3). The pump (4) delivers pressurized methanol through a pressure control valve (5) to a test furnace (6). The test furnace (6) comprises of an atomization assembly (16) that atomizes methanol using atomizing air and an ignition system (15) with a high-energy arc ignitor for reliable ignition. A flame detection system (14) monitors methanol flames in real-time. The control unit (17) regulates and optimizes combustion by adjusting flow rates, ignition parameters, and atomization settings.
