Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a method for cache management. The system (100) is configured to receive first data objects for storage in a cache (214). Before storing the first data objects in the cache (214), the system (100) holds the first data objects in a temporary memory location. To free up storage, the system (100) identifies one or more second data objects from a plurality of second data objects stored in the cache (214) that can be removed, based on second storage spaces and access patterns. Once the free storage space in the cache becomes at least equal to or greater than the total storage requirement of the first data objects, the identified second data objects are removed. Following this, the system transfers the first data objects from the temporary memory location to the cache (214), ensuring optimal space utilization and efficient data retrieval. [
