Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a system and method for adaptive intelligent intrusion detection and autonomous cyber defense against evolving and zero-day cyber threats. The system ingests cybersecurity telemetry from heterogeneous computing environments and produces a contextual cybersecurity representation via data aggregation and correlation. The dynamic cyber environment graph learning engine continuously models the relationships between the users, devices, applications, services, privileges and network resources. A threat propagation prediction engine predicts attack paths, lateral movement opportunities, and compromise likelihoods. The system also includes an adaptive deception intelligence module for dynamic deployment of deceptive resources, a behavioral threat DNA generation engine for generating persistent threat fingerprints, and a hardware-assisted attack attribution module for correlating hardware-level and software-level anomalies. A self-evolving threat intelligence synthesis engine generates predictive threat models and an autonomous defense orchestration engine initiates adaptive mitigation actions. The present invention provides improved threat detection, predictive cybersecurity analysis, cyber resilience, attack attribution and autonomous protection against evolving and unknown cyber threats.
