Sanjana Ram Pampatwar on September 13, 2026, for A Synergistic Substantially Anhydrous Topical Spray Composition Comprising Moringa Oleifera, Nigella Sativa And Curcuma Longa And A Process For Preparation Thereof.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a substantially anhydrous sprayable topical composition comprising Moringa oleifera extract, Nigella sativa oil and Curcuma longa extract in a dermatologically acceptable non-aqueous carrier, together with an oil-compatible suspending agent and a low-HLB emulsifier or dispersing stabilizer. The composition is configured to combine botanical antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and tissue-supportive functions with no-rub spray delivery. In preferred embodiments, Nigella sativa oil is standardized with respect to thymoquinone, Curcuma longa extract is standardized with respect to curcuminoids, and optional zinc oxide and dimethicone provide moisture-barrier and friction-reducing functions. The substantially anhydrous architecture reduces dependence on conventional aqueous- phase preservatives while a controlled suspension structure maintains pump sprayability. A preparation process includes formation of an oil phase, development of the suspension under shear, addition of the botanical actives, vacuum degassing and filling into a non-pressurized spray dispenser. The composition is particularly adapted for topical deposition on skin exposed to occlusion, moisture and friction, including diaper- and absorbent-article-associated skin environments.
