Abstract: The present invention relates to a synergistic herbal tablet formulation and a method for preparation thereof. The formulation comprises ginger powder, flaxseed powder, and mulethi powder as active ingredients, along with lactose as a diluent, talc as a glidant, magnesium stearate as a lubricant, and Tamarind Seed Polysaccharide as a natural binder. The invention addresses challenges associated with poor flowability and compressibility of herbal powders by employing a functionally integrated excipient system within a wet granulation process. The final product has good particle binding ability, equal distribution in dies, and better tablet stability. The process is carried out using successive stages of powder preparation, addition of binder, granulation, drying, lubrication, and compression. The system allows for efficient, economical, and dependable production of herbal tablets that meet quality standards and have superior mechanical properties.
