Abstract: The present invention discloses a synergistic herbal aqueous composition for oral hygiene derived from Himalayan flora, comprising standardized aqueous extracts of Juglans regia (30 to 40 percent), Vitex negundo (20 to 25 percent), Justicia adhatoda (15 to 20 percent), and Zanthoxylum armatum (20 to 25 percent). The composition exploits pharmacological synergism among phenolics, flavonoids, alkaloids, and alkylamides to deliver enhanced antimicrobial efficacy against biofilm-forming oral pathogens including Streptococcus mutans, with minimum inhibitory concentration values at least 3-fold lower than individual extracts and fractional inhibitory concentration index of 0.35 confirming true synergism. The formulation concurrently provides anti-inflammatory activity through cyclooxygenase-2 and matrix metalloproteinase inhibition, and sustained analgesic effect through TRPA1 and TRPV1 receptor modulation
