Abstract: Described herein is a switchboard system [100] installed atop a junction box [102], the switchboard system [100] comprising a base frame member [104] and a plurality of independent switch units [106], each comprising: a base assembly [108] installed onto the base frame member [104] and a toggle assembly [112]. The base assembly [108] houses/defines a plurality of female contact terminals [110]. The toggle assembly [112] is detachably installed relative to the base assembly [108]. The toggle assembly [112] comprising a plurality of male contacts [114] extending outwards therefrom, wherein the plurality of male contacts [114] is adapted to be received within the plurality of female contact terminals [110] to enable electrical connection therebetween. The detachably installed toggle assembly [112] relative to the base assembly [108] enables the plurality of male contacts [114] to be extracted from the plurality of female contact terminals [110] to disrupt the electrical connection therebetween.
