Abstract: A switch module (100) comprises a housing member (102) with a first end (172) and a first second end (174), a push knob (106) adapted to exhibit to-and-fro movement being along a length direction of the switch module (100) to attain a non-actuated position (NAP) and an actuated position (AP), a base cover adapted to cover the first end of the housing member (102). A microswitch (110) disposed between the housing member (102) and the base cover (108) the microswitch (110) comprises a first end (112) and a second portion (176). The push knob (106) comprises a top portion (114) and a bottom portion (116), the bottom portion (116) comprising a first protruding portion (118), the first protruding portion (118) of the push knob (106) comes in contact with the first end (112) of the micro switch (110) in the actuated position (AP).
