Abstract: ABSTRACT A sustainable sound insulation pipe (100) for soil and waste discharge systems. The sustainable sound insulation pipe (100) comprises an inner layer (202) and an outer layer (204) consisting of a High molecular weight polypropylene block copolymer and nucleated polypropylene homopolymer resin. It may be noted that the inner layer (202) and the outer layer (204) may further constitute inorganic base pigments and polymer additives in combination with the polypropylene. Further, the insulation pipe comprises a middle layer (206) combination of High molecular weight polypropylene block copolymer with a mixture of fly ash and fly ash cenosphere. The sustainable sound insulation pipe (100) invention exhibits sound transmission loss properties between 50 Hz to 6300 Hz, while maintaining impact resistance at low temperatures and low coefficient of linear thermal expansion.
