Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a support arrangement for inclined bottom plates of storage tank (102) comprising a single bottom plate (104) and a confining structure (108). The single bottom plate (104) coupled to a foundation (202) of the storage tank (102), and configured to provide uniform support for contents in the storage tank (102), and the single bottom plate (104) comprises one or more transition zones (106) to accommodate agitator-induced stresses. The confining structure (108) is coupled below the single bottom plate (104), and configured to allow intermittent concreting process in a confined space (206) to provide uniform support for the contents. The concreting process is executed intermittently to allow proper settling to manage agitator-induced stresses.
