The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a submersible multi-angle tool (100) for in situ formation of openings (142) in an existing borewell casing (10) without removal, thereby facilitating restoration of groundwater inflow. The submersible multi-angle tool (100) comprises a driving unit (104) having a submersible motor, a gearbox (108), drill bits (111), plurality of cutter blades (112), a power cable (114), a rotary winch (118), and a pair of holding ropes (120A, 120B). The driving unit (104) transmits rotary mechanical output through the gearbox (108) to continuously rotate plurality of cutter blades (112). The rotary winch (118) enables vertical lowering, positioning, and retrieval of the submersible multi-angle tool (100), while controlled rope-based tilting moves the rotating cutter blades (112) toward the casing wall to form the opening (142) at a selected operating depth.
