Abstract: Disclosed herein is a structure (100) of vehicle for mounting Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) unit. The structure (100) includes a panel (102) adapted to be positioned at one of a rear end and a front end of a frame of the vehicle. The panel (102) comprises at least one mounting portion (104) located proximal to an edge of the panel (102). A mounting bracket (302) is attached to at least one mounting portion (104) of the panel (102). The mounting bracket (302) supports the BSM unit thereon. The mounting portion (104) includes at least one embossed bead (106) formed on a surface of the mounting portion (104), and includes one or more projections (108) protruding from the surface, in proximity to a corner trim-line edge (105) of the panel (102). The one or more projections (108) are adapted to mount the mounting bracket (302) to the panel (102).
