Abstract: The present invention is related to a street lighting system using multi-sensor data and energy optimization system is disclosed that uses multi-sensor fusion, edge intelligence, and energy optimization to control LED luminaires (102) on streetlight poles. The system comprises an LED luminaire assembly (102), an LED driver circuit configured for pulse width modulation dimming (205), a multi-sensor module including a motion detection sensor (103), an ambient light sensor (104, 201), a traffic density sensor (206), and a weather sensing unit, an embedded processing unit (101, 204), a communication module (105), and an energy management module coupled with a power source (202) and extra power provision (203). The embedded processing unit (101) computes illumination intensity using a weighted function of sensor inputs and historical data, and updates weighting coefficients through reinforcement learning. The computed output is applied to the LED driver circuit via PWM control (205) for dynamic brightness regulation. The communication module (105) enables data transmission through ZigBee link (116) and 3G link (115) using 3G infrastructure (113) and internet (109) to a streetlight web server (106) accessible by authorized users (107, 110) via web client (108).
