Abstract: ABSTRACT A STRATEGY-BASED THREE-DIMENSIONAL COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN SYSTEM FOR GENERATING MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT MODELS AND A METHOD THEREOF The present disclosure relates to a strategy-based three-dimensional computer-aided design (3D CAD) system(100) and method(200) for automatic generation of mechanical equipment models. The system(100) includes a strategy documentation module(110) configured to acquire modeling strategies in structured tabular formats comprising feature, sketch, and entity definitions. A strategy interpretation engine(120) parses the tables, resolves sketch-to-plane relationships, constructs profiles and paths, and sequences feature operations into a resolved instruction stream. A model generation engine(130) applies primary 3D operations, including extrude, revolve, sweep, and loft, to construct parts and, when assembly data is present, composes assemblies by computing transformation matrices from component and mate tables. A collaborative interface(140) separates strategy specification from execution, enabling design engineers to author strategies while CAD-skilled users or automated agents perform model generation. The system facilitates revision control, model reuse, and outputs completed 3D models in standard CAD exchange formats for mechanical design and manufacturing applications.
