Abstract: The present invention discloses a stimuli-responsive nanoparticle system and a method thereof for targeted therapeutic delivery in Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD). The system comprises a biodegradable carrier material encapsulating a therapeutic payload and functionalized with stimuli-responsive moieties such as pH-sensitive, enzyme-sensitive, or reactive oxygen species-responsive groups. The nanoparticle surface may further include targeting ligands for ovarian-specific delivery. The invention also discloses a method for preparation of the nanoparticle system and a method of treatment of PCOD by administering the system to achieve controlled and site- specific drug release. The invention improves therapeutic efficacy while reducing systemic toxicity and is adaptable for various therapeutic agents and scalable manufacturing processes.
