The steering assembly (200) comprises a steering member (201), at least one rotary actuator (207) and one or more linear actuators (209). The steering member (201) receive one or more user inputs. The at least one rotary actuator (207) is connected to the steering member (201) via at least one linking member (205). The one or more linear actuators (209) is communicatively connected to the at least one rotary actuator (207). The at least one rotary actuator (207) is disposed along a central axis (Y-Y’) of the vehicle (100) and transfer the one or more user inputs to the vehicle (100).
