MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611099314 A) filed by Noida International University on August 17, 2026, for A Stabilized Multiple Microscope Slide Support Device For Laboratory Staining.
Inventors include Poorna Khaneja; and Alisha Wadhwa.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a ‘stabilized multiple microscope slide support device for laboratory staining’ comprising a first support rod (Rod 1) and a second support rod (Rod 2) arranged substantially parallel to each other for supporting a plurality of microscope slides. The microscope slides are positioned on and across the two support rods in a stable and spaced arrangement, thereby minimizing sliding, tilting, displacement, and unwanted movement during staining, washing, rinsing, and drying procedures. The device is configured to simultaneously accommodate multiple microscope slides, preferably seven slides, while facilitating convenient placement, handling, staining, and individual removal of the slides. The device is simple, economical, reusable, easy to clean, and suitable for use in medical laboratory science, microbiology, pathology, hematology, cytology, histopathology, and other diagnostic and research laboratory procedures.
