Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a spindle (110) for a recovery winch (100). The spindle (110) includes a first portion (112) defined having a first outer diameter (D1), a second portion (114) defined having a second outer diameter (D2) and a third portion (116) defined having a third outer diameter (D3). The third portion 10 (116) opposite to the first portion (112). The first outer diameter (D1) of the first portion (112) of the spindle (110) is equal to the third outer diameter (D3) of the third portion (116) of the spindle (110) forming a parallel shank structure of the spindle (110). The parallel shank structure of the spindle (110) facilitates easy assembly and disassembly, ensuring a more efficient and straightforward process 15 during both installation and maintenance. The spindle (110) can be assembled and disassembled using a single fastener (120) instead of multiple fasteners. [Figure 1]
